Oristano is located in the centre of Sardinia and is easily accessible. Whether you’re arriving on the island by sea (in the ports of Cagliari, Olbia, Golfo Aranci, Porto Torres, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Arbatax) or by plane (in the airports of Alghero, Olbia, Cagliari), it will be easy to reach Oristano.

The closest airport is that of Cagliari Elmas, which is also connected by the railway line.
The city can also be reached from the airports of Alghero and Olbia in less than 2 hours by car.

Oristano is easily reachable from the Port of Cagliari (about 1 hour by car and a little more by train).
Even from Porto Torres or Olbia, it is possible to reach the city both by car and by train.

Oristano is easily reachable by car from any area of Sardinia.

Oristano has a train station, which easily connects it to other areas thanks to an efficient railway line. As a matter of fact, thanks to the train it is possible to reach the Elmas Airport, Cagliari, Sassari, Porto Torres and Olbia.
